Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Good clear communication from the host about how to find and access the property. They also maintained contact throughout to see if there was anything else we needed. They helped us to resolve a transport issue that we were struggling with. The entire property was beautifully finished and we were amazed at the value for money. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom had sufficient storage, the curtains were able to block out the light but in addition there were powered external shutters which plunged the bedroom into complete darkness. The living room had a large TV with the ability to cast from your own device which my partner made good use of. The patio doors joining this space to the balcony with its small table and 2 chairs. The kitchen area was well stocked and the complimentary bits and pieces were appreciated. Including washing up liquid, so many places don't think of this little detail when stocking the kitchen. The aircon in both rooms was effective. The washing machine is located in the bathroom and there was detergent for this under the bathroom sink. The bathroom also had an extractor so no worries about steam from the powerful shower misting up the mirror. We used the pool area a couple of days and the caretaker for the apartment block was always around if you had any issues. The walled town is about a mile away but there is a popular bakery at the end of the property access road and there is also a local eatery (Kafana Bokelj) about 5minutes walk away which has freshly cooked food. Both were really useful when we had a rainy day during our stay.
Negative: We struggled to think of anything to put in this box, but the only thing we can think of is that the bowls have a textured surface which makes them difficult and noisy to eat off. Oh and we would have liked some designated cushions for the patio furniture rather than taking the ones off the sofa.
Summary: Beautiful place to watch Kotor Bay from Dawn to Dusk.
